Vulkania Healing SourceState-recognized healthy

The Vulkania Healing Source on the Dreiser Weiher, the second largest Eifelmaar, is one of several strong mineral springs within the Maar basin, which is literally bubbling. Hence the name - “Dreis” comes from the Old High German term “triusan” for “bubble, trickle”.

The Vulkania Healing Source is one of the most important sources that Nürburg Quelle Hermann Kreuter GmbH has opened up through drilling. Other springs in this Maar basin include the Nürburg spring and the Dreiser spring. The spring water of the Vulkania Healing Source is characterized by high mineralization and diverse healing effects.

Healing thirst quencher

The large number of minerals leads to a particularly balanced composition of the state-recognized healing water. At 1.4 liters per minute it bubbles out of a large stone monolith that stands next to a small roundel with a chapel and is suitable for both a little refreshment in between and for drinking treatments.
